We believe there is only one God.1 He is the Creator of heaven and earth. 2 God both exists as, and has revealed Himself in three persons: the Father; 3 the Son, Jesus Christ; 4 and the Holy Spirit. 5 These three are equal in power and glory, but execute distinct and harmonious offices in the work of redemption of mankind. 6 He governs all things according to His sovereign will7 and for His own glory. 8

We believe the Bible, made up of sixty-six books, was “God-breathed" (inspired) as originally written and therefore without error.1 God caused the human authors to write the very words of Scripture.2 Scripture is authoritative in all it teaches and in all matters it touches.3 The Word of God has been preserved through the ages.4 The Bible is the final revelation of the will of God to man and constitutes the only infallible guide for faith and life.5

Man and woman (Adam & Eve) were created by God.1 Mankind's greatest purpose is to obey, worship and love God.2 By his voluntary disobedience, Adam fell from his state of innocence 3 and as a result of his fall, all people are now sinners by nature and by choice.4 We are utterly devoid of the holiness required by God's law, and naturally inclined to evil.5
Every person is under the just condemnation of God, deserving of eternal punishment and everlasting separation from God.6 The sinner is without excuse, defense or hope apart from Christ.7

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.1 He is fully God and fully man.2 He lived a life without sinning.3 He died on the cross as a voluntary substitute in the place of sinners.4
He bore God's punishment for our sin, redeeming us by His shed blood5 and rose from the dead on the third day6 victorious over death and sin.7 Following His resurrection from the dead, Jesus ascended bodily into heaven where He now intercedes for those who believe in Him.8

We believe the Bible teaches that salvation of sinners is entirely the work of God's grace and cannot be earned.1 Salvation, which is offered to all, results from the sole condition of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with genuine repentance from sin.2 God in His love draws sinners to Himself, granting them faith, repentance and forgiveness.3 At the moment of salvation, the sinner is spiritually regenerated and given a new nature.4 By faith in Jesus Christ alone, the sinner is justified (declared righteous) by God; reconciled (at peace) with God5 and no longer condemned.6 The sinner who trusts in Jesus Christ as his Saviour is eternally secure in his salvation,7 adopted into the family of God,8 and the recipient of eternal life in heaven.9

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God1 and of the same nature as the Father and the Son. He is the agent of spiritual rebirth.2 He indwells all believers,3 brings assurance of salvation,4 and produces increasing likeness to Christ.5 He builds up the church and empowers its members for worship, service and mission.6 His relation to the unbelieving world is to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment.7 The Holy Spirit endows with spiritual gifts upon conversion to carry out the work of the ministry.8

We believe the New Testament Church is defined in two aspects: the local church1 and the universal church of believers "the church that is His body" of which He is the head.2 The local church is a congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel. The church observes the ordinances of Christ and are governed by His laws.3 Its Scriptural officers are pastors, sometimes-called bishops or elders, and deacons.4 The pastoral office is clearly limited to men.5 God specifically assigned the headship and authority in the local church to men.6

We believe Christ has given baptism and the Lord’s Supper to the local church as ordinances to be performed by His Church.1 Christian baptism, according to Scripture, is the immersion of a believer in water to show his death to sin and his resurrection to new life, but does not impart spiritual life.2
The Lord’s Supper is the commemoration of Christ’s death until He comes, and should be preceded by solemn self-examination. The bread and fruit of the vine are only symbols of Christ’s body and blood. The observance of the Lord’s Supper is for believers only and must be observed under the direction of the local church.3

Angels are spiritual beings created by God.1 They were created a higher order than man2 but lower than Christ3. Angels are "ministering spirits"4 to God and believers as directed by God. Angels can provide encouragement5 and physical protection6 to believers.
Satan was a good angel given great responsibility in heaven. However, when he rebelled against God he was cast out from heaven along with one-third of all the angels (afterward known as demons) who followed him.7 Satan (known also as the devil) presently seeks to establish a world system in opposition to God and His people. Satan blinds the minds and hearts of people to the Gospel.8 He deceives people by drawing them away from obeying God's Word to follow after the philosophies and pleasures of "the world".9 Satan's judgment was pronounced in the Garden of Eden10 and ensured on the cross when Christ died for our sins.11 In the future, Satan and his followers will be cast into the "lake of fire" for eternity.12

The Bible teaches that at death, those who trust Christ as their Saviour will pass immediately into the presence of the Lord.1 Those who are unrepentant towards God will pass immediately into hell upon their death and await the last judgment of God.2
The Bible prophetically foretells many details about the future, including the next event in God's sovereign plan: the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Christ returns, the dead in Christ (those who trusted Jesus as their Saviour) will be raised from the dead and join the living in Christ to be with Him in glory.3 All who belong to Christ shall be made perfectly like Him in body and spirit.4 Those who have not been saved from their sin through Christ [dead or alive] will stand before God to account for their deeds on earth. God will judge them guilty of their sin and they will justly suffer eternal condemnation in the lake of fire along with Satan and his angels.5
God will make a new heaven and earth where sin no longer exists and the righteous will worship and enjoy forever the presence of their God and Saviour.6
